Extended Care Program

Morning Care

Morning Care is available from 7:15 a.m. – 8:15 a.m.
There will be a flat fee of $5.00

Extended Care

Extended Care is available from 11:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
The fee is $5.00 an hour.  Not to exceed $25 for the day.

Any child going to extended care must be signed in by a parent each morning. We understand unexpected circumstances may cause you to need extended care some afternoons. However, if this occurs you must contact the school by 11:00 am in order to use our extended care services. A $10 late fee will be charged to your account unless you contact the school office by 11:00 am informing staff you need extended care services.

Pick up from Extended Care is by 5:30 pm. If a parent is late, they will be charged $5 for the first minute and $1 per minute for every minute after that. After 3 times of being late the child will not be permitted to stay in Extended Care.

Extended Care Schedule:
11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. / Playtime (playground/classroom centers)
12:15 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. / Lunch
1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. / Rest Time
3:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. / Snack/playground/classroom centers/activities


We have certified staff that stays everyday for Morning Care and Extended Care. You will need to provide your child with a nutritional lunch and drink. If you would like us to provide a lunch at any time we will be glad to. There is a $3.00 charge for this service. A mid-afternoon snack is provided by preschool.

DCF Requirements:  Plastic resting mat that we provide-$11 rental fee for the year.  Parents provide an ice pack in lunch box, a lunch that meets the nutritional needs of the child for his/her age group and that does not require heating up.

MANDATORY FOR EXTENDED CAREStandard size backpack that can easily zip up after items are placed inside. Acceptable items include: small pillow, blanket, stuffed animal, pull ups or diapers if needed and a change of clothes.  No mat covers permitted. Please put name visibly on outside of lunchbox and backpack.

If at any time a child is not able to adjust to the afternoon routine, other arrangements will have to be made.
